Millennium Plastics receives Enviromental & Energy Achievement Gold award

Ray Pryor receiving the Enviromental & Energy Award

Friday 23rd September 2016 was another great night for Millennium Plastics at the bi-annual Plastics New Zealand Design Awards ceremony held in Auckland.

Pramesh Haharal from EECA, sponsors of the inaugural Environmental and Energy category presented the Gold Award to Ray Pryor of Millennium Plastics.

" This is a significant award", commented Tony Rutz, CEO at MPL. "Our customers increasingly want to know that they are dealing with an environmentally responsible organisation and they often ask to see our sustainability policy. It is important to them that they be aligned with a Company that complements their brand."

This award acknowledges MPL's commitment to sustainability over a number of years during which the Company has participated in the EECA Energy Audit programme, Operation Clean Sweep and a number of other initiatives that combine to lower energy use and minimise our impact on the environment.

Millennium Plastics sees sustainability as a great way for all New Zealand companies to differentiate themselves from international competitors.
